The ' ' Show is a structure built for the campaign of the Rietveld graduation Show 2011.
The idea was to ask graduating students of the school to participate to the design of the poster.
Students had the possibility to upload a picture containing text and to fill the white space on the poster.
By doing so, they were giving a name to the show.
We printed the posters at school, with an A0 printer specially bought for this task.
The students had therefore the possibility to see the production of the campaign.

Two disciplines, one cup is the catalogue of the Art and Research program initiated by the University of Amsterdam and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. During a year, 20 students divided in 4 groups worked on a specific project of their choice. At the end of the year, the result of their studies is presented in an exhibition and in a catalogue.
In order to allow the students to make profit of the opportunity to have a catalogue, a workshop for each group has been designed. The aim was to integrate the production process of the book with what the students were working on that time. Therefore, it represent rather a work in progress and the process of researches rather than a finished content. It question the value and the use of a catalogue in the chain of production, not representing an exhibited work, but be part of the work itself.

Thinking in pictures is a book…
Thinking in pictures is a book representing the archive of the artist Robin Waart.
The archive is composed by a collection of 500 movie stills of moments when someone says "What do you think" or "What are you thinking about?". The collection is ranked by the moment the screenshot has been made within the film. The book structure is designed in such way that it represent this concept, to represent time through the space of the book. A vertical grid divide the space of a double page into 60s. An horizontal one allow to respect the hierarchy within a minute. An index categorize different elements of the material, from the name of the director to the presence of mistakes in the subtitle.
