This Side Up

Under the title, This Side Up, Emilia Bergmark (Graphic Design) and Maria Gondek (VAV) are investigating up- and down- ness of objects and spaces. The transparent modernistic cube that is the Rietveld Pavilion will be transformed into a doubled space investigating Deleuze's notion of the paradox:

"Good sense affirms that in all things there is a determinable sense of direction (sens); but paradox is the affirmation of both senses or directions at the same time."
