The smart thing about this shelf system is that the tension of the rope holds it together and provides structural integrity, making it easy to dis- and reassemble, light, cheap and free from hardware. It's designed with the standard cheat format in mind leaving a minimum of spill, the ability to "flip" all parts makes it possible to alter its appearance given that the faces has been given different tones.
