Inside out

The football worldcup 2006 in Germany changed my view of the game football. I experienced a new way of celebrating with a nation. It changed our society for one moment. Inspired by this, I started last year, to focuse on footballs. During investigating the inside and the outside of footballs, i discovered new material and new possibilities of putting them together. One of the outcome is this football carpet. The main idea was to turn the world in a football stadion around. The whole field will be covered with this football carpet. It is growing each day a bit more and will include more and more stories of used footballs.
