Travelling without moving

Layla van der Oord, Beeld en Taal student at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, made drawings about the travel that takes place in the mind during sleep while the body performs an unnoticed cheography. We respect the need, dress up for the occasion, shut the curtains, set the alarm, close our eyes. What is left of us when we sleep? What is our body up to on its own?
