[s]elected presents the work of the winners and all nominees of the GRA AWARDS. Castrum Peregrini is happy to host this selection for the 2nd time providing a platform for young talent to meet professionals from its´creative network. In addition to the winners, all nominees of the GRA awards are given the opportunity to present their final projects.

With an introduction at 5:30 by Ben Zegers, director of education at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, and Lars Ebert, Castrum Peregrini programme manager and ELIA senior advisor.

Sunday Salon

-Sunday 24 november 3pm – 9pm

Moderator: art critic Sacha Bronwasser (i.a: de Volkskrant)

With: Rosan Dekker, Johanna Kotlaris, Celine Manz and Inge Thoes.

-Sunday 15 December 5pm – 7pm

With: Karin Bartels, Anita Burato, Eamonn Harnett, Silvia Martes and Anton Stuckardt

Moderator: art critic Wieteke van Zeil (i.a: de Volkskrant)

With food and stories by the selected participants.

The young artists will tell about their personal sources of inspiration and motives by the use of their selection of video fragments.

Amsterdam Art Weekend

Sunday 1 december 12pm – 18pm

With daily performances 2pm by Eamonn Harnett (about 60 min) and at 4pm by Silvia Martes (about 10 min)

GRA Awards

The annual GRA Awards in the categories ‘Fine Art’, ‘Design’ and ‘Thesis’ are awarded on Saturday 6 July at 16.00 p.m. With the awards, the academy provides talented young artists and alumni with a financial contribution to help them build their artistic practice.
